Cape - October 2013
We have had bad experiences locally trying to sort out our 4x4's and decided to visit Cape Town where the experts work. There were lots of excitements on the way down including complete instrument failure and running out of fuel.
General servicing and electrics were on the menu.
A luta continua.
As usual we decided to have a little holiday on the way.
The pictures below show some of the places we visited.
The camp site at Karoo National Park. The facilities are excellent
Below are some of the animals we saw in the park.
An interesting place in Beaufort West.
More scenes from the Park.
A picture of a flower taken at the Brede River.
Pictures taken at Kirstenbosch National Botanic Garden are below.
This must be one of the saddest Baobab trees I have ever seen.
We were away about a month and I enjoyed many train rides between Cape Town and Simon's Town.
